Ingredients:
Food Lion tortilla chips (enough to cover a baking sheet)
1 cup cooked ground beef, seasoned with salt, pepper, and a touch of mustard
1-2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or American cheese blend for the classic flavor)
1 tomato, diced
1/2 red onion, diced
Fresh lettuce, shredded (for topping)
Dill pickles, diced (for that signature tang)
Special sauce drizzle (mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and relish mixed together)
Sesame seeds (for sprinkling on top, optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Assemble the Nachos:
Spread Food Lion tortilla chips evenly across a baking sheet.
Sprinkle the cooked ground beef over the chips.
Generously sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef and chips.
Add diced tomato and red onion on top.
Bake:
Place the assembled nachos in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
Top and Serve:
Once out of the oven, garnish the nachos with pickles, special sauce, lettuce and sesame seeds.
